Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: [>>>EDIT: date<<<]

We keep this simple and fair: you're only charged when your unlock actually works. Here's exactly what happens in every situation.

1.The principle: you pay only on success

No successful unlock, no charge.

When you order, we place a temporary authorisation (hold) on your card. We only take the payment when your unlock is confirmed complete.

If we can't complete it, the hold is released automatically and you pay nothing — there's no refund to wait for, because no money was ever taken.

This is the opposite of how some unlock services work, and it's deliberate. You should never be out of pocket for an unlock you didn't receive.

Stripe mapping (internal — delete before publishing): Pay-on-success via authorise-and-capture is the single strongest signal to Stripe that you're not running the "charge first, unlock maybe" model that generates the disputes Stripe penalises.

2.Every situation, explained

Your unlock couldn't be completed → no charge

If your device isn't eligible, the service is unavailable, or the unlock otherwise can't be done, the authorisation is released and you're not charged.

Device is lost, stolen or blacklisted → no charge

We can't unlock these devices. If this is found, the hold is released and you pay nothing. (An optional IMEI check before ordering can tell you this in advance.)

Your unlock was completed and delivered → not refundable

Once your unlock is confirmed and we've sent your completion email (including any unlock code), the service has been fully performed and delivered. As you agreed at checkout, it's not refundable at that point.

You submitted the wrong network or model → may not be refundable

If an order fails because the information given was incorrect, and we've already incurred a non-recoverable cost from our supplier on submission, a refund may not be possible. We'll always explain the situation and help you resubmit correctly. This is why we offer the optional IMEI check.

The optional IMEI check → not refundable once provided

The IMEI check delivers a report immediately, so its small fee isn't refundable once you've received the report — including when the result is one you didn't hope for.

3.Your cancellation rights

Because our service is a digital service that we begin at your request, your statutory "cooling-off" cancellation right can end once you've asked us to start and the service has been performed. At checkout, we ask you to confirm this knowingly and separately, so it's never a surprise.

Before your unlock has started, you can contact us to cancel and we'll release any hold on your card.

None of this affects statutory rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

⚠ Lawyer to confirm — central clause The point at which the cooling-off right is lost for digital services differs by market (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations vs US rules). A solicitor must confirm this section, and the matching consent mechanism in your Terms section 6, are correct for everywhere you sell. This is the clause your refund position rests on.

4.If you're unhappy — talk to us first

If anything goes wrong, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. We have real people on live chat, WhatsApp and phone, and we resolve the large majority of issues quickly. A chargeback on a completed, delivered unlock will be reviewed against our delivery records — but we'd much rather just fix the problem for you.

5.How refunds are paid

Where a refund is due, it's made to your original payment method. Most releases of a card authorisation are near-immediate; where an actual charge is refunded, it typically appears within [5–10] business days depending on your bank.
